On Thursday, June 18, Commissioner David Glass & a representative of Carpenter & Associates attended LPRW’s monthly meeting.

The main topic was the Greenport International Airport & Technology Center. Watch the video.

David Glass is a lifelong resident of Bastrop County. He is very involved and has served on a variety of boards throughout the community. Glass is the County Commissioner for Precinct 4. He was first elected in 2022 and is up for re-election this year.

While the airport and technology center is located in Precinct 4, the impact will be significant to Precinct 1. The flight path will send planes right over Precincts 1008 & 1009, including Pope Bend Road & Cedar Creek High School.
